Getting ready for next year
Hey everyone So 2009 is getting pretty old, the decade is being written off already with polls coming out of every angle and media-world putting it to bed and getting ready for next year. Well, I'm here to tell you that it's not over yet. 2009 still has a bit of mileage in it, especially when it comes to The Futureheads. We've just put a brand new track, 'Struck Dumb' up there on the Clash Music Website for all you guys to download completely free of charge, and the fun doesn't stop there. Keeping up with tradition, we're delighted to announce that we'll be playing a super-small Xmas show at The Lexington in London on December 14th, and you lot on this here mailing list get first refusal (yeah right, refusal) on tickets for it. We'll be playing a whole load of NEW tunes, and obviously all the big ones from albums past. Everyone on the mailing list will get a ticket access emailed to them tomorrow, with those left going on friday morning.
On top of this (fear not, fellow Northerners), we’re doing a similar thing in Manchester on December 18th at super-tiny but super-cool Moho! Should be a total blast.
So don’t worry, it’s not all doom and gloom this side of Christmas. The bloody Futureheads are dusting off the Telecasters for some proper rock action!
