@theJeremyVine @thefutureheads Strange that the Telegraph ran that story. I thought they would've preffered a joke about ethnic minorities.

Get on this…

Folks, How you doing? We’re pretty good – had a long summer, with some real good festivals, and some big adventures all over the world (I know what you’re thinking – lucky us…)

Well, lucky you, actually, because the graft hasn’t stopped now that Winter is on the horizon – we’ve got some juicy live dates still left to enjoy before good old St. Nick drops down the chimney.

We’re out in Europe right now, and things are awesome… Thanks to everyone who came out in Holland, France, Germany etc – we’ll be back in the spring – I promise ya!
So, to cut to the chase, the rest of the year looks like this:

We’ve outdone ourselves and scored a sweet trip to Australia in October – for only the second time in our little lives. Hopefully we’ll catch you on our antipodean adventures at the following venues:

1 October – Metropolis Fremantle, Australia
3 October – Gaelic Theatre Sydney, Australia
5 October – The Corner Hotel Melbourne, Australia
8 October – The Tivoli Brisbane, Australia

After that, we’re back in Europe, but in places that are mostly unexplored for The Futureheads. Many thanks to the fans in Poland for getting in touch through MySpace etc – we’re finally coming, and we can’t wait! We’ve got Italy, Spain, Scandinavia and more coming too! Check them out in the tour section!

And UK – I hear ya! It’s been a while. We haven’t had such a glorious homecoming tour since Hounds Of Love came out in ’05. These shows should be a blast – we’ve rehearsed up about 40 songs, so the setlist will be as unpredictable as one of Jaff’s DJ sets! We’ve recently played ‘Le Garage’, ‘Fallout’, ‘Robot’, ‘Work Is Never Done’ – stuff we haven’t done for ages / ever!

Here are the dates – get yourself down. Because we’re worth it…

29 November – The Astoria, London
30 November – Whitehaven Civic Hall, Whitehaven
2 December – Glasgow ABC 2, Glasgow
3 December – Glasgow ABC 2, Glasgow
5 December – The Point, Cardiff
7 December – The Waterfront, Norwich
12 December – Sheffield Academy (Pet Sounds Night), Sheffield
19 December – The Sage, Gateshead
20 December – The Dutchess, York
