Mouth Of The Tyne Festival

Tickets are on-sale from today for our show at the Whitley Bay Playhouse as part of the Mouth of the Tyne Festival 2013.  On Thursday July 11th we’ll be performing a cappella and acoustic arrangements from the ‘Rant‘ album, with some songs from the back catalogue thrown in as well.
We’re hard at work on a new record, so this is a rare ‘Rant’-related appearance this year.
See you there!  Tickets available here: http://tiny.cc/aq3hww
Here’s a little glimpse of what the show might be like!

St Os Fest

the Futureheads have been supporting St Oswald’s on a variety of projects over the last few years, and we’re delighted to say that on Friday January 11th 2013 we’ll be playing a one-off unique gig for them too!

Taking place at Newcastle University Student Union, St Os Fest will see a whole host of bands performing as their favourite artists, in true ‘Stars in their eyes’ style! More of the line-up will be announced very soon, but we’ll be joined by Maximo Park’s Paul Smith who’ll be spinning records into the early hours. There’ll be one of a kind raffle prizes, too, and all proceeds will be going to St Oswald’s Hospice (whose work you can check out here: www.stoswaldsuk.org )

Tickets are available from 9am TODAY, and you can snap yours up here: tinyurl.com/cy72myw In the coming weeks we’ll leak a few clues as to who we’ll be performing as, but suffice to say, it’ll take a bit of dressing up and a bit of rehearsing!

We can’t wait and we hope to see you there – remember it’s for an important and fantastic cause. Cheers!
